Build Backlinks To Expand Your Internet Popularity!
By · CommentsUntil recently, it was nearly impossibly to build backlinks throughout the internet. How does a page gain success if their owner does not take the time to build backlinks on their own? The answer is a backlinks generator.
How did people build backlinks before using a backlinks generator? There are many methods when it comes to creating automatic backlinks for your page. You could contact other website or blog owners with similar goals and ask to share links with them, submit the URL of your blog to a variety of online directories, visit a number of forums and comment on other websites and blogs, spin articles online, etc.
The easiest way to build backlinks for your website, however, is to buy SEO backlinks and guarantee that automatic backlinks will be generated throughout the web. The best backlinks software is the Automatic Backlink Creator 3000. This backlinks generator has provided my website with the highest search engine rankings it has ever experienced.
The pleasures of running a successful blog or website are great, but finding your idea of success can be a chore. I had grown tired of creating automatic backlinks on my own as the process was all too time consuming on top of keeping up with the content of my page. I was working endlessly to build backlinks on pages of similar interest, but with the amount of new websites and blogs that are created by the minute, there was no way I would be able to manage everything on my own.
I recently learned all about the backlinks generator and found that it offered many benefits. First, a backlinks generator will continuously file through existing web material and find key words and phrases related to my website and build backlinks out of the content, thus linking back to my page. Automatic backlinks are created for me and appear on many pages that I never would have had the time to find on my own.
A successful backlink system is hard to find, but I am sure that I have been lucky enough to find the best backlinks software currently available to website or blog owners of all kinds. No matter what content your web page boasts, a good backlinks generator will be able to find places to build backlinks to your page in more places than you could imagine.
Once I made the decisions to buy SEO backlinks, I began watching the traffic and ranking of my website grow tremendously. All I had to do was get the backlinks generator, enter my URL, and enter key words and phrases related to my page and the rest was done for me!
By using the Automatic Backlink Creator 3000, my website grew a larger following than I had ever imagined and all of the traffic spent a good amount of time on my blog. The amount of backlinks delivered by this backlinks generator also pushed the ranking of my website through the roof, bringing it to the front page of Google without me having to do any of the work on my own.

Will Using Too Many Plugins Slow Down Your Blog?
By · CommentsOne of the reasons I absolutely love WordPress is its ability to simply adapt, tweak, and customize my blog to make it look and function exactly how I want it to. To do this many times I use a variety of plugins. However, installing a lot of plugins to your site more functional is tempting, but if you add too many plugins, especially plugins that have been poorly coded or are out of date, it can really ruin your site and the more importantly provide your visitors with a awful user experience.
How fast should your WordPress site load?
You want your WordPress blog to load within two seconds. In all reality this is nearly impossible if you’re on a shared hosting account. The problem originates from the dynamic nature of WordPress and combined with the shared hosting environment. Simple solution, power your WordPress blog on its own individual hosting provider.
Why having too many plugins will slow down your blog?
The main reason is that not all plugin developers configure their plugins to be loaded only when the plugin is actually needed.
WordPress goes over the plugins very early in the loading process, and unless there are conditions in the plugin code, telling WordPress not to continue loading the plugin for that particular page/post, WordPress will continue to process the plugin, calling database queries to retrieve parameters you have set in the dashboard, retrieving additional PHP files and loading js and css files when they are not needed at all. You see what I’m saying?
The entire process can even take 2-3 seconds, depending on how many plugins are loaded.
If you add these seconds to the time it takes to load images in your post, the Google analytics js file, the comment-reply js file that WordPress loads for threaded comments…well, I think you get the picture. It takes forever.
What you can do about a slow loading blog
- The first choice for many people is the WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache plugin. It creates static HTML versions of your dynamic pages. This massively reduces the numbers of queries made to the database and helps to increase page load time.
- Go through all of your plugins and deactivate the ones you don’t need. Be ruthless. Don’t be afraid. Get rid of the vanity plugins first, but keep essential plugins such as Akismet. You definitely want to keep Akismet blocking comment spam.
- Make sure you are using the latest version of WordPress. These days you can automatically update from the admin area once behind the scenes in your dashboard, but make sure you back up the blog database and files before you do.
- Make sure you are using the latest versions of the plugins you use. Always update when prompted to do so.
If you’re interested to know what plugins I use please visit Top WordPress Plugins. Honestly, if you asked me which is the best number of plugins to use I couldn’t give you an honest answer. There are too many factors to consider. How do you make certain your blog loads quickly? Feel free to leave a comment below and let us all know!
One of the reasons I love WordPress is because of its user friendly services. For example, one of the most effective ways to get your blog indexed faster with Google and search engines is through a method called, “pinging.” WordPress does this automatically for you and is a great way to increase your SEO for your site.
What is pinging you ask?
When you “ping,” you are shooting out a quick message to ping servers letting them know your blog has been updated with new content. So… every time you publish a new blog post – if you have your WordPress site set up with the right plugins – the ping service will alert the search engines about your new article. Your new article published on your blog will list your blog on the ping service “recently updated blogs” list.
Is this an SEO strategy you’re aware of?
I’m often surprised at the number of bloggers who are completely oblivious to this method. Their ignorance could possibly have already damaged their blogs SEO. Soon I’ll tell you exactly how to check if the damage has been done and what you can do to preventing your site from getting banned forever.
What are the advantages of pinging?
- Getting indexed faster by the search engines
- Other people start linking to your content when they see your ping
- Services like Technorati spider (visit) your site. This is a good thing!
- You can get instant traffic
Like I mentioned earlier, WordPress will do this for you. Automatically! Did you know this? I would bet not. This is really good news as we are all busy with work at hand. And like anyone else, the reason I love using WordPress is because of its many capabilities to automate a lot of my otherwise time consuming, mundane tasks, such as pinging.
WARNING! Since you probably didn’t know your site was already being pinged, your blog has probably already been banned by the pinging services. Bummer!
Did WordPress Get Your Blog Banned?
I hope not! But it probably did. By default WordPress pings whenever you post a new article to your site. That’s a good thing and we want that to help with our SEO. But the problem is WordPress also pings whenever you edit and update any existing posts. How many times do you update an article before you consider it perfect?
My thoughts exactly. I do the same thing too. So if you edit a post 3-4 times then WordPress will shoot out 3-4 pings. It doesn’t matter if you add one period or a whole paragraph, WordPress will ping it.
You don’t want excessive pinging because that is exactly how your blog will get banned from pinging services.
So what’s the issue?
In fact, there are three major issues:
1. Pinging ping services to often can get your blog banned from using them because of ping spamming
WordPress will by default send a ping to ping services whenever you write a new post on your blog – which is great and exactly what we want – but it will also send a ping whenever you edit a post
So if you edit a post 5 times it will send 5 pings for the same post!
2. The next issue is that WordPress does NOT ping by default for future posts
If you write a post and give it a future timestamp, WordPress will not send a ping when the post is listed. Especially for people that write future posts, or those that load a set of posts in WordPress to be listed in the future this a major issue
3. A final issue is that there is no log available of pings
WordPress does not tell you what it pinged and when it pinged it. That also means you have no way of knowing whether your pings are even working or not!

How to Check if Your Site Has Been Banned
The only way is to check each and every update service about twelve hours after you post, and see if they have received a recent ping for your blog, or if they are displaying the current post(s) from your blog.Another way is to search for your post titles and see if they come up in search engine results.
How to Solve the WordPress Pinging System and Ensure Your Site Doesn’t Get Banned
There is light at the end of the tunnel. There is a simple solution to this problem so you can be 100% sure your site doesn’t get banned from this services for spamming the search engines.
The Maxblogpress Ping Optimizer is a FREE plugin that corrects the WordPress automatic pinging system and will save your blog from getting into deep, deep trouble.
Here’s how this awesome plugin works:

Update your WordPress Ping list. Are you in need of more traffic? Would you like an easy way to boost your SEO? Who wouldn’t right? A free and easy way to assist in achieving maximum results with your SEO efforts is to ping your blog. When important blog pages are pinged search engine spiders will visit your site and index the information and URL. If you’re not doing this you should. Let me show you how and what WordPress ping list you need to be using.
WordPress Ping List: What is Pinging?

Pinging is a highly effective SEO strategy of promotion for WordPress blogs that allows you to submit individual blog posts or your blog home page to hundreds or thousands of directories at once. Using a specifically calculated WordPress ping list you can get a wave of traffic and boost the PageRank and authority of your blog with keywords that are niche specific to your blog posts, boosting your SEO efforts. But first you need a healthy WordPress ping list.
How does pinging work?
Whenever you update or publish your posts WordPress will shoot out a wave across your updated WordPress ping list (it is essential to keep your WordPress ping list current, updating every couple of months to keep up with new trends. It’s a good idea to bookmark this page or join the insider’s perspective mailing list to stay current with SEO efforts). This is a simple calling to search engine spiders to come and index your new or updated post.

This is a more finely tuned WordPress ping list. Though some may debate about it being too long; to each their own. There is a slight chance a ping list this long can slow down your blog. I haven’t experienced this and am happy with the results, thus I keep it as it is.
WARNING! Using WordPress Can Ban Your Blog From Ping Services… But this free plugin will save your blog from getting banned.
-
How To Add This WordPress Ping List
- Login to WordPress Dashboard
- Go to Settings >> Writing
- On Writing Settings page go to bottom you will see Update Services and below it a Big Box

WordPress Firewall 2 Plugin
By · CommentsIdeally, WordPress Firewall 2 should be the first plugin you activate on your WordPress site because not only will it protect WordPress against directory traversal attacks, SQL injections, remote code injection and executable file uploads, but it will also help stop any of these attacks from being launched against most other plugins.

What is WordPress Firewall 2?
WordPress Firewall 2 is an updated version of the popular WordPress Firewall plugin, with fixes for all known bugs and a few new features!
This WordPress plugin investigates web requests with simple, WordPress-specific heuristics, to identify and stop the most obvious attacks. There are a few powerful, generic modules that do this; but they’re not always installed on web servers, and usually difficult to configure.
WordPress Firewall 2 plugin intelligently whitelists and blacklists pathological-looking phrases, based on which field they appear within, in a page request (unknown/numeric parameters vs. known post bodies, comment bodies, etc.). Its purpose is not to replace prompt and responsible upgrading, but rather to mitigate 0-day attacks and let bloggers sleep better at night.
Why You Need Worpress Firewall 2 in Your Plugin Arsenal
Firewalls protect you from unwanted intrusions into your system. The WordPress Firewall 2 plugin protects your blog from many known ways WordPress can be hacked including Directory Traversals, SQL Queries, Field Truncation Attacks, Executable File Uploads, and more. If you don’t know what any of those things are then you certainly need this plugin.

Google Algorithm: What’s in Store for 2012?
By · CommentsGoogle Algorithm is the game we must all play. Remember Google’s shake up with their Panda update last spring? It literally brought down a lot of money making websites in a matter of seconds. Hopefully yours wasn’t one of those and hopefully you’ve learned from the mistakes of others to ensure you’re sitting on solid ground for a long time. Have you insured this?
What’s in store for 2012?
Well to begin the New Year off with a bang, Google introduced another change to their infamous Google Algorithm on January 19, 2012. Now if you don’t know too much about Google and how they control their search engine, let’s first be very clear. Google is always changing and tweaking their algorithm on a daily basis. Sometimes several times within one day. So what makes this latest change different?
Well if I chose to write about it, it was significant. Now, it’s not nearly as big as the Panda algorithm change that affected 12% of searches. In comparison, this Google Algorithm only affects about 1% of searches.
Now you’re probably saying to yourself, “Only 1%! How is that significant?”
The Google algorithm is evolving – it’s getting more creative and more sophisticated in its abilities to identify real content on the page and differentiate that with all the extras (sidebar text, widgets, etc.) on the side. What does this new Google algorithm mean for you and me? For starters this change will continue to evolve over the year so that Google can begin to give more preferential treatment to the higher quality content on the page.
If you’re a regular visitor to my site you might have noticed I’ve been constantly changing my header image these last couple of days. I’ll explain why in a bit. But first let me further explain this Google algorithm change in more detail.
The New Google Algorithm
It’s all about analyzing the amount of content that is presented to the user ABOVE THE FOLD. You ask yourself, “What does above the fold mean?”
If you know anything about journalism, above the fold is an old term used by newspaper publishers that simply means the story that appeared above the fold mark of the paper, or approximately half-way down. Think back to reading a newspaper, now think where they put the most important stories… as you can imagine it was always most desirable to have your story ABOVE THE FOLD to get maximum exposure. You see where I’m going with this? Where do you want your website to rank to receive maximum exposure?
Good guess. But not quite. In the world of Google and onscreen internet space, above the fold is the content that shows on your page before you click on the vertical scroll bar or page down. In other words, what you see on a website when you first open up your website in a maximized window, the content shown on screen is considered to be above the fold.
Like any Google algorithm it’s not that simple because there really is no standard screen resolution. Some people have small screens and resolution and others have dual 24” monitors in high resolution. So the above the fold line is difficult to actually measure. According to Google, you can safely assume the area of 900 pixels wide by 500 pixels high to be above the fold – about 90% of the users on the internet.
If I haven’t lost you yet, let me explain why this is important.
Why This Google Algorithm is Important
The simple reason, because a large percentage of your traffic comes from Google. If you’re creating your internet business on solid ground and expect to make this your living for years to come then you need to listen to Google and react to their changes.
If you’ve developed your foundation on solid, ethical practices that gains the respect of Google then there is no reason to worry. However, if you’re trying to game the system then you’re probably exploded by now with more frustration.
My quick advice… Don’t game the system; rather focus on building your internet business on solid long term SEO strategies. When you choose to employ short term tactics you get short term results and are here today and gone tomorrow. Respect Google’s algorithm game and they’ll respect your website. Simple logic.
I choose to respect Google and their algorithm changes. Here’s how I build a long term SEO strategy for my internet businesses.
- I target appropriate keywords
- I build links for them in a conservative manner
- I write high quality and engaging content
- I build rapport with my readers
- I focus on building my list
The one thing I don’t do… chase a quick dollar.
Are you in this game to win it once or year after year?
This latest Google algorithm is something that Google has discussed many times over. It’s entirely about providing a great user experience by displaying textual content above the fold. If you don’t listen to Google YOU WILL GET PENALIZED.
Google Algorithm Logic
Google wants to provide the best possible experience to its users (our customers
). When a user searches for something, Google wants to take them immediately to a page of relevance and VALUE about the subject they searched. What Google doesn’t want is to have the user scroll down several pages past ads, banners, adsense blocks, flash animations and whatever else before getting to the real content that they were searching for. You feel me?
Google is doing exactly what they have always said they would do and for that I respect the Big G. I mean let’s be serious, have you heard Google talking about social media these past few months? I have. Where do you think the future is going? You got it! Concentrating more on the importance of social media. When it happens you can thank me later for telling you so.
What You Need To Do
There are some things you’ll probably want to change. Open up your site and ask yourself, “Do I have enough textual content above the fold?” I did this and realized I could do better. Thus why I have a new, sleeker header design. Still, I could probably do a bit better. Some of my sites are easier than others. But I’ve put it on my things to do this week list. Will you do the same?
To get a great look at your site as it is seen in different resolutions, take a lot at this terrific free tool by, none other, than Google itself.
http://browsersize.googlelabs.com/
This tool will allow you to navigate to your site and it will super impose a chart over the top of your site in a semi-transparent method so you can see what parts of your site are appearing.

Here’s a quick checklist of items you should consider evaluating on your site design.
- Site Header – Is it too thick and wasting too much vertical space? The taller your site header image is the further it pushes content down below the fold.
- Navigation Bar – Are you using a double tiered navigation bar? You know, the kind that has two rows of links? That just adds to a thick header and you should consider redesigning it and putting some of those links into the footer instead.
- Too many ads – If you have too many ads above the fold that just screams at Google – trust me, not in a good way. You need to reexamine your layout and see if you can shift some around to get more content above the fold.
- Big Image Sliders – These have become all the rage, but you need to really consider how you use them. If you’re not careful your above the fold view will have nothing but a header, sidebar ads and an image slider – seriously, that’s what a lot of sites look like, especially in lower resolution.
Is that too hard to do? I didn’t think so. Be creative as there are more things to do that I didn’t mention. Feel free to leave a comment below and tell me what you’ve done to improve your site above the fold. I’m anxious to hear. I’m personally exploring the idea of increasing the width of some of my sites so I can fit more content above the fold. Of course I want to do all of this without losing my design.
My Final Thoughts
